Milestones

The Beginnings

1924

The company is founded in Annaberg in the Erzgebirge, approximately 450 km (279 mi) from today’s location.

Expropriation and VEB

1948

The political events after World War II led to expropriation in 1948. As a national enterprise (VEB) the business was continued at the Annaberg location until shortly after the German reunification.

EXPROPRIATION AND RE-ESTABLISHMENT

The Sixties

After expropriation, some of the owner families went to the West and set up a new plant in Steinau near Fulda. In 1960 the company came into the possession of a new owner. To be closer to the main customers of the automotive industry and the supplier industry, the company moved to the present location in Mühlacker in 1965.

Acquisition

1999

In 1999, Facius + Schober was acquired and integrated into the Fischer & Plath Group.

Today

More than 90 years of experience

The great experience that Facius + Schober has in the production and distribution of sealing rings today, is the result of the long company tradition and the fact that we have been an A-supplier for decades in the name of automobile manufacturers, suppliers and retailers.
